An epic era of an exemplary eldership in the history of Christian Ministry of Reconciliation aka "Grace and Truth" has come to an end. Daddy Peter Odon was not only a titanic figure by working in tandem with other divinely assembled godly men and women in providing full support to ensure the success of one of the most gracious ministries Divinely given to our beloved Daddy and late overseer, Rev. John Ogu, he continued serving in God's vineyard with the same zest under the leadership of our current overseer and one of the most humble servants of God, Daddy John Nyamadi. Daddy Peter Odon was particularly a father to me as he always looked out for me in camp and received me warmly. He would fondly and painstakingly ask after every member of my family one after the other. He'll gist with me like he's my contemporary. He had a way of making me feel very comfortable around him. He would ask me to always keep in touch with my siblings; his biological children with whom we share a special bond. Mummy always approached me the same way. They were a true example of a godly but elderly couple. His love for quality education is next to none. I recall with nostalgia, the last time he spent a night at mine. When he saw my senior sons, after commenting on their physical appearance with relish, he asked me firmly, if they were doing well in school as they look physically. From the tone of the question and his facial expression, I could easily decipher that he wouldn't want me to focus on one aspect of their development and leave the other equally important perspective unattended. Daddy was always cheerful. He is greatly missed. We look forward to seeing again at the feet of our dear Lord Jesus Christ who loves us n gave Himself for us on the Cross of Calvary. Rest in hope of resurrection Daddy.
